ANISOLE
100-66-3Anisole is obtained through chemical synthesis; naturally, it can be found in tarragon oil, apple juice, and certain types of cheeses and meats.
Anisole is used as an insect repellent against scolytid beetles and as an odorant substance employed as an attractant for snout beetles. It is an effective method for controlling them when applied in mechanical traps or combined with insecticides or similar products.
