It is versatile as a cosmetic biocide, antistatic agent, and cationic surfactant cleaning agent, allowing its incorporation into a wide range of products.
Due to its alkyl chain length, it has been used in various hair care formulations such as sprays, conditioners, shampoos, and hair tonics, deeply nourishing and moisturizing dry and damaged hair while restoring shine.
For skin care, it is used in hand and body preparations, as well as in various formulations.
