OSSAMONIO® PQA II is a polymeric quaternary ammonium compound based on poly(2-hydroxyethylene (dimethyl ammonium) ethylene (dimethyl ammonium) methylene) dichloride, formulated as a light brown viscous liquid. Its cationic polymeric structure provides high affinity for surfaces and prolonged action in aqueous systems.

It is characterized by its effectiveness as a microbicide and algaecide, acting on a wide range of microorganisms by disrupting their cell membranes. Its polymeric nature allows for greater persistence and stability compared to conventional biocides, enabling continuous control of biological growth.
